(LIST CONTINUED FROM PREVIOUS POST - Sorry, it forced me to split the post to two messages)

* Pass the following constitutional amendments (HOWEVER NOT A CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION!!!) that would:
1. change the voting laws for passing bills/laws that include anything about taxes:
* to cut taxes, a simple majority is required;
* to raise taxes or create new taxes a 3/4 majority or 7/8 majority is required
2. Requires each year's budget be balanced except in time of war however no debt may be passed that cannot be paid off in 10 years.
3. Make it illegal to pass any laws or taxes that limit, prohibit, or otherwise cause an increased cost of acquisition or ownership of guns by law-abiding citizens. We have a right to have firearms and ammunition - you can't take them away from us or make it too expensive to buy or own anything related to a firearm. You cannot force us to register our guns nor our ammunition - it is unconstitutional!

* Get our dollar back on the Gold standard within 5 years or less.

* Build 4 walls - 2 along the north border and 2 along the south border. Make these military grade walls in order to "provide for the common defense and general welfare" of We The People of the Untied States. Include digital, mechanical and human surveillance for our entire border. Persons attempting to breach this border illegally will be given one verbal warning before having forceful, up to and including lethal, action taken against them and all of their equipment or vehicles.

* Allow energy companies to invest in regional or local nuclear power plants without having extreme taxes levied on them

* DO NOT LIE - do not lie by omission, exaggeration or by taking something out of context - mean what you say and say what you mean!! WE ARE ALL ADULTS - YOU ARE SPENDING OUR MONEY - WE DESERVE THE TRUTH AND WE DESERVE TO HEAR THE NEWS AS IT IS: DONT SUGAR COAT IT OR TRY TO PROTECT US FROM IT. We The People have the power in this country and we created the states which created the Federal Gov't - DONT EVER FORGET THAT!

* Congress should have performance based pay (might be hard to judge though)

In no particular order here is our list of demands from elected officials. This list was created by a group of three 24-year old guys from Cincinnati who are growing more annoyed everyday by the abuses from our government and our elected officials. None of us were really "plugged in" to the political scene two years ago - recent events have caused us to get involved and stand up to be heard! Thank you, Glenn, for providing us this outlet to unite at both the local and national level with like-minded citizens!!

All Politicians,
Please listen to us. In these days of chaos and financial turmoil, we must consider what has caused this mess. NOT which political party but which of our country's founding PRINCIPLES have been violated. Below is a list that we feel would help us get back on course as individuals and as a nation. PLEASE BE ADVISED, we are VERY SERIOUS about these issues and our beliefs are rooted in history and are in alignment with the founding principles of our great nation.

* God is a centerpiece of this country - whether atheists like it or not. The other 90% of Americans believe in God - our founders believed in God. It is okay to pray, abortion is immoral and the Pledge of Allegiance is to be stated: "one nation under God". NOT "one nation <pause> under God" or worse, not saying "under God" at all.

* All politicians must reaffirm their commitment & understanding of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
o Frame all debates and issues around these documents and principles.
o Possibly institute a test of the principles of the Constitution

* Reaffirm the 10th Amendment - repeal all laws and abolish all federal programs that are unconstitutional or send to the supreme court for review
o End almost all social programs - few exceptions including all veterans
o Abolish Sec. of Health and the department of Health
o Abolish the Federal Reserve
o Eliminate the Sec of Education and the department of education. At most, only 50 federal employees for education - one for each state in order to help coordinate individual STATE'S efforts for education. A state may decline to leave this position unfilled and receive a credit equal to the amount of that position's compensation.
o In general, the Federal Government needs to get out of my life and my business!!!
o End social security - phase out the payments. current recipients continue to receive entitlement payment. those that will begin to receive payments within the next 7 years receive 90% of planned payments. Those that will begin to receive payments in next 7.001 to 20 years receive 60% of payments. All else shall receive NO payments at all. Their money paid in is lost - blame the presiding politicians who passed these entitlements and the voters for not watching their politicians more closely. No one born after Jan 1, 2000 will pay into the social security system nor receive any entitlements from this program. Within 2 generations, this unconstitutional social program can be eliminated and will not burden any future generations.

* Simplify budget reporting - make it easy to put on the frontpage of all newspapers and internet news sources. Make it simple to understand and make sure it is all the financial information ABOLISH THREE-BOOK ACCOUNTING SYSTEM and mandate a single book for financial records

* Convict all criminals especially those financial criminals particularly congressmen, aides, lobbyists and lawyers. Impeach all congressmen involved in any financial crime starting with Barney Franks, Chris Dodd, Charlie Wrangle, Tom Daschle, etc, etc. Convict them for racketeering under the RICO laws whenever possible.

* Term limits - 2 terms for House of Reps and 1 term for Senators

* Protect the sanctity of elections - No more ACORN groups or similar groups. We will not give money to these groups. If any of these groups are found guilt of fraud or any other felonious crime they will be convicted under the RICO racketeering laws INCLUDING ALL GOVERNMENT officials involved especially elected officials.

* Don't strengthen unions - NO CARD CHECK - keep organizing efforts to a secret ballot to ensure the rights and protect them from threats, harm or any other form of coercion to join a union

* Limit government's role in the private sector - RECONCILE ALL LAWS WITH THE CONSTITUTION.
o Shift most of the regulation to trade associations and industry groups

THE JOB - URINE TEST
(I don't know who wrote this but whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!)

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I
work, they pay
me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes
as it sees fit. In order to
get that
paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I
have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my
taxes to people Who don't have
to pass a urine test.

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to
get a welfare check
Because I have to pass one to
earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people
get back on their
feet.
I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping
someone sitting on
their rear
end,
Doing drugs,
while I work. .
... Can you imagine how much money the
state would save If people had to pass a urine test to get a public
assistance check?
