"A lot of you are PewDiePie fans apparently"

That's depressing.

Above all, do not lament Hub's absence. For in my spark, I know this is not the end, but merely a new beginning.

Simply put, another transformation.

I've seen most of SF Debris' Trek stuff already. I don't disagree with most of what he says, but I do think he's way too harsh and nitpicky. Voyager was heavily flawed, yes, and certainly didn't reach the heights of TOS and TNG. But its heart was in the right place, and it's still a worthwhile and fun starship adventure show with a positive message. I still enjoy it despite the flaws.

Here's someone much more erudite than myself writing in defense of Voyager and Janeway on Ebert's blog. http://www.rogerebert.com/balder-and-dash/now-voy...

Eh. Sisko wound up much more of a Mary Sue (overused as that term is) what with basically completely throwing out his moral code to bring the Romulans into the war, then still having the gall to pooh-pooh the Klingons for celebrating the fall of Cardassia. Sisko just came off as a self-righteous hypocrite, then he ascended to godhood to further cement his ostensible infallibility (leaving his wife and son behind, I might add). Janeway may have been inconsistently written, but she was also willing to admit her mistakes, learn from them and always come back to her principles after straying, although she did need a lot more penance after the whole Equinox incident.

Kirk was easily the most moral Trek captain, willing to throw out the rules for humanitarian causes every time. Picard was principled so far up his ass he often ignored the human cost of things like the Prime Directive.
