I've been a long time democrat and I've had enough of this BS. Neither party is fitting into my love for this country or my beliefs of what this country stands for. If you all stand with me, Republicans & Democrats alike, It's time to take action. My suggestion as a first step, is to change your voter registration to 'Independent'. If we all take this small little step, it can lead to a huge reaction. I am also looking for a Tea-Part in the Tampa / Orlando areas over the 4th of July weekend. Good luck to all and I stand with you !

Congress, the President, the Military and Federal Law Enforcement take an oath to uphold, protect and defend the constitution... One would think that'd be enough.

I do like the idea that they should pass some sort of competency test on the Constitution and the Deceleration of Independence.

Changes I'd Love To See: (Not in any order)
a. Congress should be limited to 2 terms ! (the House & Senate). Just like the Presidency...
b.There needs to be an upper age limit on the Presidency & Congress members (65ish). ((It's Called Retirement))
c. Congress should only be paid 100k a year + the going government premium !
d. I like the Presidency terms as they are, but I would love to see the election process overhauled.
e. Downsize the Government, get there fingers out of the pots, the kitchen is too crowded !
f. Re-institute the term 'ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS', and export them ! My great grandparents immigrated to this country legally and so can they. It's not about who they are, but how they got here.
g. American English is the official language of this country ! If I want to learn another language, it's my decision.
h. Protect our country, it's boarders and ports !
i. Make Mexico the 51st state, then send in the military to expel the drug cartels. It's the only way I'd allow amnesty to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. (at least those from Mexico). This way they pay taxes and companies that hire them have to pay minimum wages, which is above what allot of them make today.
j. No more 'Special Projects' & 'Ear Marks' in bills, if the government needs money for something else let us, the people vote on it.
k. Welfare should be there to help people retool to get better jobs. Not a way of living. They want bigger, better and more, they can work for it just lick the rest of us do.
l. Balanced Budgets ONLY, someone needs to tell them when they can't spend money we don't have.
m. Axe wasteful, misused, government programs ! If not most/all government programs. If they had to live with a balanced budget, they wouldn't be able to afford all of this crap.
n. When you run for public/political office, all of your documentation MUST be presented for ALL to see ! Property / Mortgages, Taxes, Birth Certificates, Citizenship, EVERYTHING !
o. If you can't pay your taxes, you should be removed from public office and put in Jail !
p. We the people should be able to remove our Congressmen (CongressPersons) at the State Level. If they do something illegal or misrepresent the state or the country, we should be able to vote them OUT.
q. Yes we should be worried about the environment, However 'Global Warming' is a fact of the earths cycle... We've had major flooding in the earths past as well as several ice ages. We (humans), might have speed up the cycle by a hundred years or so, but we can not stop what nature is going to do anyway.
r. Ban Assault weapons.... I'm a gun owner and a member of the NRA. Leave assault weapons to the licensed collectors and the military.
s. We should have ONE United States Drivers License or Identification Card ! Having each state as an issuer of the license or ID Card. When you move from one state to the next, the address and issuing state information is changed. No more retesting and processing fees just because you moved across state lines.
s. Tax companies that offshore jobs, and give tax breaks to companies that keep jobs here in the states. I know of several people that would like to do some of those offshored jobs.
