Brietbart is also adding an UK branch which is sort of mystery to me. I was writing up a post on that. You should see some of the "stars" they have lined up as staff. (With those egos, it will implode in about two months!)

I believe that it's very hard for some people to put aside their prejudices. The world is changing too fast for them. Who have thought gay rights could have come this far and this fast! There will always be people who will have to be guided and sometimes dragged into the modern world. What REALLY depresses me is to see whole nations believing that gay people can be tolerated as long as they remain invisible and don't expect equal rights.I don't want to be "tolerated" I want full acceptance. Who would like to hear that world only tolerates your existence, subject to change whenever necessary.

Bless President Obama for finally doing something.

For fiscal year 2012, the United States budgeted $461 million in foreign aid to Uganda, keeping its standing as the largest donor to the East African country. Many analysts have alleged that much of that money never reached its intended targets since corruption is widespread in Uganda.

But Uganda is only one example in Africa where US tax dollars are being used to prop up regimes that treat their gay minorities with injustice and brutality. Kenya, for example, received over $1 billion in assistance. However, like Uganda, under Kenyan law, consenting sex acts between adult males are illegal and carry a maximum penalty of 14 years' imprisonment, except 21 years in certain aggravating circumstances.
Homosexuals in Kenya are often stigmatized by health care providers. Gay men and women often face "arbitrary arrest, are often detained at the police stations, subjected to torture and unnecessary harassment by the police who extort money from them and are only released after bribing their way out. They also suffer sexual abuse from the arresting officers."
At least, the Kenyan government is making the right noises.
Not so in Uganda. It is merely pocketing the money.

Added to this, US evangelists played a kill role in stirring up homophobic hatred there and professed shock and horror when the Uganda parliament drafted the "Kill the Gay" bill.

It's like that scene in "Gravity" when every 45 minutes garbage in space comes around the planet and tears apart everything in its path, making more garbage.

Except in this case, it's not space but the nation and it is not garbage, only trashy thoughts.

And you can determine a person's character by feeling the bumps on his head. Bet you didn't know that?

Actually this information has been around for years but it is just one step away from trying to find a way to prevent gay babies which is not only absurd but insulting.

Just another example of why the Republican party is so out of touch. This woman is supposed to be a respected GOP strategist and here she is making silly remarks like this on network TV. The other night she was on another show with her husband (a man I would rather poke my eyes out before I see him shirtless) acting like she was high on something. It has come to a point where the Republicans (by and large) cannot carry on any kind of politic discourse with maturity, especially when it covers any subject even remotely related to sex.
