They are not rethinking one of their highest rated shows, trust me on that much.

CNN is averaging something like 62,000 in prime time and people act like Impact is in danger over on Spike pulling 1,000,000+ eyeballs.

And, as I pointed out before Dave illogically failed to realize his story would imply illegal contract tampering on WWE's part, which simply is not going to happen, following the law suit especially.

A bit side tropic, but worth mentioning is he Tweeted this a couple hours ago, also-

"Let me clear things up. I haven't talked with WWE. I shouldn't have to tell u this but, don't believe everything u read on the internet."

Obviously in response to the contrived story Meltzer put out saying WWE offered him a development slot at 1/5th his TNA deal. Dave illogically failed to realize this would mean illegal contract tampering on WWE's part, which simply is not going to happen, following the law suit especially.

Those would be outdated figures or soft estimates IMO (I'm assuming taken from one of the net worth estimating sites online). Roth has earned major bucks in the last few years with the Van Halen reunion tours, and certainly had big bank before. He commanded something like 38m this year on the tour alone. Corgan was out touring supporting the new SP album too.

Billy is probably in or around the 75 million net worth range, I'd guess.

It's a little bit of coin to play around with.

David Lee Roth is another rocker who loves and "gets" pro wrestling in the same net worth arena some have thought might be a candidate to get involved in the business.

You effectively have shorter sides for the flooring too, so it is inherently stiffer as well. No real way around it, unless you used thinner wood for the flooring, which then makes it extremely risky in a different way as you've weakened the entire structure.

I've harped on the TNA brand name as a major hindrance for a decade to anyone who will listen, including Dixie herself, so I'll save repeating the long winded Marketing 101 lecture here again. Suffice to say I agree 110% with you, Vic, it is the perfect time to at last ditch it for good.

And Talon, you are on the mark as well re a color change being needed. Blue combined with gold and touches of red and/or green would be a huge improvement, but ice blue with mostly only white/black is literally "too cool". They were wise to move away from red being the dominant color, though (well, except for the confusingly TNA red branded PPV's) . Red is seen as an irritant by the eye and elicits feelings of caution, danger and even anger when a constant/overused. It's why stop lights are red.

Green would make a very interesting primary color. JCP used it a good bit during the latter part of their heyday for a fact, with their ring aprons. Green elicits feelings of health and fitness, organic/earthy/real, harmony with nature, non synthetic...
