Frankly I'm glad he did. It took the cover off of his true beliefs on the matter of race for all to see. As I told him in my recent letter apparently it is ok to judge based on race without facts, as long as it's the person of color that gets the benefit of the doubt. We now know that he is not above racial divide because instead of taking the high road he instead perpetuated the problem further with no basis from which to do so.

timrinaldo,

Noted, accepted and I stand with you in the fight. You are correct to think that I too would stand up for your right to believe as you wish, for if you were denied your rights I too would be in jeopardy of losing mine. That simply will not pass.

I look forward to moving together with the goal of restoring capitalism, upholding the Constitution and defending our liberties from enemies foreign and more pressingly domestic.

olnavyboy,

I apologize. I have gone back and reread your comments and it would seem I can see how I took them out of context. I initially was just responding to timrinaldo and hurriedly saw yours and I am afraid I lumped you in unjustly. I would remove your name from my response if this would let me. Thank you in advance for your understanding and please accept my apologies.

timrinaldo/olnavyboy,

From Liberty and Tyranny, "Reason and science can explain the existence of matter, but they cannot explain why there is matter. They can explain the existence of the universe, but they cannot explain why there is a universe. ... They can explain the existence of life, but they cannot explain why there is life." - Levin

I'll agree with your right to believe as you wish, but let's not pretend that Science has a lot left to explain shall we.

While the Constitution does not specifically speak of God it does make Freedom OF Religion the first Amendment Right.

Secondly as TexasMama pointed out in her last post, in the Declaration God is specifically mentioned and cited as the giver of our unalienable Rights.

I do not disagree that our group should be focused on the task at hand of "fighting against oppression and an overreaching State", but I find it disheartening that you few among us who cling to these important documents would belittle the beliefs of the authors of our government. I feel that this belittling and reference to our faith as a philosophy and the like is offensive personally.

I for one would much rather cling to my God than to the words of other men who come from the likes of those who promote man made global warming. If you knew anything about Christ he does not "encourage us to sit around" waiting on him. We are to act. We are to be soldiers for him and speak the truth to the masses. The greatest trick the Devil ever played....

While some of you talk of putting aside faith to get things done, others of us believe that our faith will be the only thing that carries us through this time and others. Please don't foresake our faith for yours, because Science is just that... a faith. The only difference is you tangibly believe that man will discover the meaning of life, and we already believe to know it.

If you cannot answer the questions in the quote from Levin, than you must at least acknowledge a "supernatural force" is just as likely a solution unless you can prove, not theorize otherwise. Until than your belief, like mine and others here, is a personal choice. Please respect it.

Loved the President's speech today! No of course not the lies or the deceit. What I enjoyed was the backsliding and worming out of questions and the general tone which for the first time showed me a President who realized he does not have the full support of the American people to do whatever he wants. I saw HOPE that instead of 4 arduous years of socialist decline we may in fact already be seeing the beginning of the end! I HOPE to see more good people stand up and keep the fight for America's future alive!

We Surround them!

"Be it known that there are many places in this land where people still recognize the courage and impact of total self-sacrifice."

I'm not from Georgia, I'm from California and if I may speak for the many Californian's who are under represented on the news...Amen!

triper57,

I agree with you. But as you stated these Czars are not experts or limited it would seem to advising only. By all accounts they are operating with Executive authority and making policy. With or without budget authority these Czars are influencing directly the way that private enterprise does business. This is a clear violation of the rights for business to operate in a free market. Of course they sold their souls to the devil when they took bailout money. The bailout was bad and the CZARS are bad. The money should be repaid and REFUNDED immediately to the taxpayers, which won't happen but should, and the Czars should have their powers limited to that of adviser to the President such as the rest of his cabinet positions. Rep. Jack Kington, R-Ga has now raised the issue of the Czars constitutionality (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/07/15/obamas... and is drawing up legislature to deal with the issue. Even Dem's are voicing criticism for the lack of transparency they create. I think we should encourage our representatives to support Rep. Kington's legislature.

Well let's make this a priority! We need to get rid of the Czars. This is a call to action to call your Representatives everyday until their is an investigation into the legality of the Czars. No approval process until it has been constitutionally determined that the President has the power to appoint Czars in the first place (which he does not!). This is something we can focus in on and make a difference.

How is this legal? How have we not had an investigation into the legality and authority of the Czars? It seems we have gone so far down this path and I never heard anyone objecting to the appointment of Czars. Is it simply a given that he has this power because he says he does?
