I believe it.

<DIV>Kaptain Ken, the gay and lesbian lifestyle is not okay. Not eating pork was a jewish tradition. During the Old Testament times before Christ came and died for us as the ultimate sacrafice, there were many sacrafices and things that had to happen in order for the Jewish people to be able to be God's people (best way I can describe it). When Christ came and died for us, this ended the Jewish temple traditions of sacrafice and what I call pharisee rules or man-made rules.. It is very clearly written throughout the New Testament about the Gay and Lesbian lifestyle. God doesn't change His mind. There is sin and sin is just not acceptable in Heaven. He loved us so much, He sent His son to die in our place so that when we accept Him, our sins are forgiven. However, just like it states in John, it is not a free pass to sin. </DIV> <DIV></DIV> <DIV>I think the closest thing to help you understand God is to watch the first Narnia movie. It clearly explains it in the simplest terms. Also, I've always like the Book of John because it lays everything out for you. There are God's terms and then there are men's rules. Jesus came to teach the truth that men's rules are not always God's rules. I hope I have explained it enough for you to understand. :o)

JonothanEnix, actually my point was about the hate when someone who walks according to principle 8 gets hate spewed at them. Healthy debate is good. Anytime we as Christians get an opportunity to tell of Jesus love we must do so as it is what the Bible tells us to do. It's true though there are many many rabbit trails.

Yes, but you have to be careful. Showing tolerance to others who are sinning is condoning the behavior. I believe on some level action is good, but like some other comments I have witnessed in this forum, people seem to believe that "good" actions will get you to Heaven. So when witnessing, you must be careful. Jesus' forgivness is not a free pass to sin. I believe those who believe truly in their hearts are changed by allowing Jesus to be in thier lives. It is not immediate, but eventually through wise council the change is evident. I have seen it in my own life and seen it in others life. In fact, we had a lesbian come to our recovery group and she recieved Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She turned from this lifestyle and began to share her testimony with others. It is really amazing!

Think Jeff Foxworthy...I think he did a skit on how the worst rednecks seem to always find their way on tv...lol.
Sorry LookItsLeah, I know I have been guilty of using that word redneck to mean bad. However, its the few bad rednecks that make the rest of them look bad.
You forget. Christians love non-Christians even if they choose to be exiled from God. We choose in every way to try to show you God's love. Following Christ is up to you. Christ gave us free will. You will still be loved, TroyRobinson even if you abstain from following Christ to the very end. However, sadly enough, when this life is done everyone will know the truth and it will be too late.
