I thought about Anne but thought all of the bright side optimism might have been wearing after awhile.

I would love to be able to see Niagara s it was 10 years ago. I went a few years ago and they are still awesome to behold, dammed or not. Reading about their former glory and the decisions leading to their current state was disheartening. I loves the way Buchanan integrated her history. It was so seamless.

This has been sitting my book shelf unread for ages. i think my mother bought it for me when I was a little girl and I have never been able to read it. I don't know what it is about this book. I'm glad that it is good. I am doubtful that I will get to it any time soon,

I think I could live with walking away unsettled and hopeful. I didn't realize that Waldman wrote fiction and non-fiction. I am still wanting to read Bad Mother.

French was masterful and brilliant as usual but I didn't like Frank and it took me half the book to warm to him, but I came around in the end. The Likeness is still my fav.

Great post. i love seeing what all the book stores do to their spaces. I knew I could count on the recipe being just what the doctor ordered.
