For that matter, why would you put a cake on the floor next to someone's bed? Or... sleep on the floor?
This comic looks pretty, but it lacks any sort of basic "direction." Like object permanence, where things ought to persist between frames but they don't:

or even something as simple as "how do you cut two slices of cake from a cake and it remains whole?"
It's a cute idea for a comic, but the execution was extremely lacking, to the point where it just becomes a vapid failed attempt at forced cuteness.
