Nope, only takes one.
I think it's due to their weak armor.

But, that was just a demo.
They could have changed it.

That was not a very direct method that they used.
Besisdes, there is a difference in suppressing will and completly removing it.

I think that was descussed in the comments near that comic.
We, concluded that the cheif was assumed dead by the characters, but that he usually survives thingd that would kill others.
