You are so right! I've recently taken trips to various cities in China, including Beijing and Shanghai. I was blown away by the capitalist setup there (they have shopping malls that put ours to shame). I found life there to be totally different and much more attractive than I expected.

Now that the U.S. is becoming a socialist dictatorship, I start classes in Chinese Language next month!

I'm sadly beginning to lean toward the hope that BHO has painted all these proposed changes with "urgency" because he wants to get these things done before his approval ratings go down the toilet. When the sh-t does hit the fan, I hope that the American spirit that led to the original revolution will lead to the next one.

Who else here sees the irony in this article appearing on MSNBC's webpage? Even BHO's MSM pals / bed bed-buddies can't hide the fact that Timmy's out there desperately trying to sell turds packaged as gold! I think soon the writing on the wall will become obvious even to all the drones that voted for this monstrosity. As crippling inflation, skyrocketing interest rates and massive unemployment sets in, the realization of "My God, what have we done?" is going to reverberate in the minds of all Americans.

Think of the "power vacuum" that will be created when Kim is gone. Even if his 20-something year old son is in charge, you know China and Russia are going to seize every opportunity to gain a foothold there and gain control over a nuclear-armed country.
I don't think we have to worry about America trying to use this opportunity to improve relations with N Korea, though. Our annointed one is predictably too stupid to do that. He will probably just apologize for America's participation in the Korean War or some horse-sh*t like that.

Diagnosis to death with pancreatic cancer is usually less than 6 months. Given the likely sh*ttiness of the N. Korean medical system, it seems Kim will be gone soon. You guys are right, I'm sure... the resulting diminished threat from North Korea from the unexpected death of Kim Jong Il will be spun by the MSM as a "victory" in foreign policy for BHO. The average American public (or "drones" as Levin calls them) will buy into this and see it as evidence that the Messiah is indeed great. Our country has become pathetic...

Maybe someone will introduce a lead-lined or similarly electronically insulated "carrying case" for your wallet, passport, etc. Sounds like a product that would sell endlessly. It would probably be outlawed by the New World Order, though. Seems like the right to privacy will be one of the last remaining liberties they take away.

Reading this article really makes me feel like soon all will be lost. I want to move into the middle of "Deliverance" country with my guns and just live off the land. I pray the Dear Lord helps us out of this mess.

GM actually sells more Buicks in China than here at home. Because of the positive image of anything American most Chinese people have, Buicks are considered a status symbol there. They save their money until they can buy them outright from the dealership. On a recent trip to Shanghai, it seemed like one out of every 3 or 4 cars on the road was a Buick.

One of my surprises in China was how dramatically capitalist it has become. Now the U.S. seems to be racing toward communism.

I don't think they think they can make failed policies of the past work. I think they realize their base will love them for saying "tax the rich". Those evil rich people! Invoking class warfare will keep them in office. That's what they think.

My experience, being a worker in a department that provides meds for the ER, is that the vast majority of these patients that use the ER as primary care are indigent, illegal aliens, or both. A community hospital cannot turn anyone away and they know it.

You're exactly right. And, the more of us they can put into the low -income tax bracket, the greater their base will become!
