Nice review. I love John Green (he's so nice in person and he thinks my name is awesome) I loved this book and it really changed my perspective when I read it the first time.

This sounds exciting and unique. I can't wait to read it. This definitely has to go on my TBR list for sure.

I've had dreams that I had to wake up and write down and some of them sound pretty awesome, though I'm not sure they'd make a coherent story.

I can't wait to read this book. I agree, Silver Phoenix made me hungry. I can't wait to get some money to buy this series.

Wow, this is the first negative review. I'm sorry you didn't like it. Great review though, now I know that it's not all just hype. I still might read it though, I do like dystopians.

I'm sorry to hear about the death in your family. I find reading and writing to be cathartic, so I understand what you mean.

I didn't know Huntress was coming out so soon. I better preorder it.

I love this.

I'm just going to recommend UCR. It's not one of the most prestigious schools (at least in the UC system), but it's known for it's diversity (you'll definitely be exposed to Asian and Muslim cultures) and commitment to service. We have a lot of school spirit, or at least it's on it's way. (I'm not really spirited in anything, so I can't really say.) And if you're worried about coming out here to Sunny So Cal, my roommate is from Chicago and one of my friends came from New Jersey. Study abroad programs at our school are pretty legit. I looked into to studying abroad and they said financial aid will be covered by the scholarships and grants you get through the school. At any rate, that's just my plug.

As far as a major, have you considered double majoring? When I started school I was so set on majoring in neuroscience, until I got a few experiences under my belt and decided that I couldn't do that for the rest of my life. You might get to college and realize you have a passion for both major. They may also interact with each other, even if they seem completely unrelated at the moment.

As for dream schools, I know how you feel. I didn't even bother to apply to mine, which I kind of regret. If possible, you should try to apply to just to a few of them, you never know what they may be looking for. It sounds like you're in good shape though.

I hope you have fun on your college adventures. If you need any help, you know where to find me. In fact, you inspired me to write some college related posts. Good luck on your SAT, I know how much those suck. =/

Great review. I loved this book as well. I wish they would write more stories about students and their struggles to go to college.

I agree with Rachel, this is one of the best guest posts I've read in a while. I was so eager to share my story (I'm glad I'm not the only one) that I forgot to mention that.
