I believe what we need to fix first is the racism here, not language priorities. Non-malays who can speak BM fluently still get side lined cause of skin colours. So it's no surprise majority non speaker looked at the language scornfully like how bumis look down on English cause they were colonised by the westerns long ago.

"The youth and sports minister, who is also Umno Youth chief, highlighted that politicians’ schedules were packed with breaking of fast events during the Muslim fasting month, lamenting that there was “no time to reflect”."

Wow. Someone from the party which causes this incident to happen in the first place actually talked sense. Think about it, it's fasting month for a reason, but why right after breaking fast, everyone just stuff their mouth, gain weight and even party in some cases? I always thought "fasting" has some deep meaning than forced no eating schedule policy.

Let's face fact here, cabotage will not be abolished under current regime. There's profit to be made under cabotage system for the cronies. BN need to keep the borneo people poor and uneducated to keep them under leash.
