Long story short,(and I believe someone already said it on here) if TNA can sign the former Derrick Bateman, give him a new name, and everyone likes him, why can't they do the same with Chris Hero?

Sadly, it's WAY too easy to be negative/mean online in general. (not just about wrestling) Why can't we take that negative energy and turn it positive? Just so sad how some people online have nothing better to do than that kind of thing nowadays.

The reason why people love companies such as ROH, NJPW, and (sometimes) TNA is because they can put on great matches through good booking/storytelling behind it.

See, to me, we live in an era where the "wrestling" part of "professional wrestling" has been more focused on by fans than ever before. Before the "IWC" really became a thing, it was really more about just the storytelling, and maybe you'd just have a match on PPV, and it wouldn't have to be that great, because the fans didn't care.

That era is long dead now.

Now, it's time for wrestling companies IMO to give us those great stories AND the great matches. THAT'S the time we live in right now in pro wrestling. "Sports Entertainment" just won't work anymore in the eyes of the hardcore fan.

They never know. Some of them really don't.

They just want THE ATTITUDE ERA BACK PLEASE.

It's sad how the IWC has kinda killed the idea of "wrestling free agency."

Apparently, even if you spend a month in a company, you're forever bound to that company, you're labeled as "one of their guys", and you can't wrestle anywhere else.

I'm not really "excited" about TNA's future, per se, but I am optimistic as to how they will handle the AJ situation/new champion tournament/Heel Dixie/end of A's & 8's, etc.

I'm also optimistic on hopefully what is going to be a new talent influx now that TNA is training their own instead of with OVW.(Because, let's face it, OVW wasn't really giving them any real new stars)

Now, with the move back to Orlando...yes, it stinks, yes, it's a cop-out, but let's hope that TNA can do two things:

1.) Gather up and stabilize their finances that they lost from road travel and other things
2.) Still be able to travel on a part-time basis(which would be PPVs and the free TV specials)

And the farthest they distance themselves from Hogan and Bischoff, the better.

Shall we send Rob Terry to Japan and keep him there?

You know, TNA(and some other wrestling companies in general) would probably be better off just hiring wrestling fans/know-it-alls, because who knows? They might have something.

That being said, I'd apply, but…

A.) I don't meet the credentials.
B.) I come from the "rival territory."

TNA should definitely take a hint from the old WCW on how to make small studios look presentable on TV.
