So true! Love that xkcd. Somewhere I had read a great article about the best, but still deeply imperfect, practices for digital data archiving, but I couldn't find it again.

I definitely understand that! This post took almost three weeks to write and I still feel like I didn't say everything I wanted to. I finally posted when I realized that waiting until I had worked everything in would take me months and would be so long and rambling that no one would read it any way.
