I agree with what most of you are saying. However, I do not think that starting a new party, taking over an established party or taking down the government is the answer. the real solution relies in you and I holding our elected officials (employees) to our standard. It relies in us being able to make the times and the effort to call out officials. To call our TV and radio stations and to start calling a spade a spade when we see it. When you start to hold people accountable they respond. You all know that. If your wife, boss or friends don't tolerate a certain behavior you don't exhibit that behavior around them. If we did not tolerate what happens in Washington then they would either have to change or leave office. If they choose not to change then we can fire them by electing someone else. It finally happened here in Utah with a congressman who got way to comfortable in his chair. We can do this by being more vocal, not by starting or changing a third party.
