Good on ya, Talon... It's not very often that a wrestling website that reports news of the behind the scenes not only takes down a post that is proven to have a source with low creditbility, but also puts out an actual recant that explains why they will not be a part of posting an unproven story... Very impressive.

A second world title would not help push more talent in this regard. The ultimate conclusion is a Styles return to unify the titles. This will give a temporary champion a run, but they will still be using the same main eventers and perhaps pull Storm out of his tag team to run for it. These are already established main eventers that will be used.

IF TNA wants to push more talents to the main events, they need a secondary show more than they need a secondary title. More exposure on television is the only way that they are going to get these people over with those who aren't the TNA Loyal who follow them in places like Forums... Of course, as I say this I am also reminded that what the fans thought TNA "needed" wasn't always the best plan possible - Impact on the Road.

No, the Tourney shouldn't have started last night. You want to show your newly crowned champ for those who missed BFG. In turn, they got the rematch clause out of the way and also managed to pull Bully out of the title picture and into a concentrated focus. Had they not done this last night, we'd have that loophole that people would point out.

And as for the Dixie flip-flop; it's a typical move for a heel in power. VKM did it when Austin won the belt and wanted him to JOIN his side after swearing to eradicate the WWF of his trash. Now that she has gotten that approach out of the way as well, expect her to find her new choice in who will be her Impact Wrestling Champion - an even funnier dig at the IWC.

It's not the physical location that is important as much as it is the crowds that are drawn in. Some shows have been great on the road and some shows have fallen flat, yet the one factor that seemed to control how well something came off was the crowd. The Styles promo when he explained why he helped the MEM (which I thought to be one of AJ's best in his career) was brought down a bit because the crowd wasn't as interested. This could be due to the Live/Tape set up that has a crowd there for 4+ hours, but there were just as many dead crowds in the Impact Zone who were sitting through a 2 hour, Live Impact that were just as bad.

In my opinion, the crowd that is drawn in is more important that the physical location.

It all depends on the price they can get for him versus the actual story and production they can get out of him. He has the spot monkey aspect about him, but that isn't exactly a bad thing, seeing as how a lot of former talent from TNA years gone by had the same stigma. IF he came in, they would need a good story for him, with limited mic work, and could showcase his Dare-Devil/Parkour style that he brings. It is interesting enough for me to reserve my judgements for both: when he signs and a few months after his debut.

That's why I enjoy it. Take anything and everything that was used by the "smarks" of the internet against Dixie and deflect it back onto Hogan. Sure, we know Jarrett had the issues with Karen and lied to Dixie about it... But the casual fans that are only there to see the Hulkster don't know that.

I hope that they hire Hogan back...

I'm stealing an idea from a podcast here, but they should hire Hogan back for a pay per appearance contract. When he comes out on television again, let Dixie rip into Hogan. She can explain how all of his worthless ideas have done nothing but make her company look bad. Blame him for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that failed in the last 4 years - Move to Monday, going on the road, hiring Pritchard, pushing Jarrett out the door, advising her to listen to the fans (#AskDixie), getting rid of the 6 sided ring. When she has fully gone crazy, have Hogan interrupt and ask if she is done. She replies, "No. I have one last thing to say... The only reason why I allowed you back on my show is to publically fire you for that bullshit that happened last time you were on Impact. Now pack your bags and head up North where they plan on low balling you, just like all companies should low ball a self righteous person like yourself."

I honestly think that they will. They have made many changes both backstage and to the product over the past few weeks. I think TNA should move forward from this and learn that just because you want to create long storylines, doesn't mean they have to be 2 year projects with focus only on that issue.

They had other key players (for instance the Park/EY and Bro Mans angle) that they could have been building since Slammiversary that would have given them an easy match for this. Same goes with Kenny King and Manic since Destination X. They could have easily injected it into the matches that are announced (equipped with other characters that were in the BFG Series and couldn't participate) to give a bit more story involved. Sure, it's not the FULL story, but it would make the matches seem to have more value going into the PPV.

SMH... This should have been on next weeks Impact; not on the preshow for the title shot on the PPV. The smarter thing for a pre-show would have been to have an X Division gauntlet to name the number one contender to whomever walks away from the Ultimate X match with the belt.
