"I loved this show and only wrote this article to bait people and stir up yet another pointless indie vs WWE debate."

I stand by my initial comment. Shame on your for perpetuating such garbage. Guess someone has to pick up the reins from Tito, huh? (Ironic that his was the most reasonable and valid piece on "All In" posted here)

Utterly tragic.

"All In" was an example of something positive happening for the business.

Near as I can tell, all it really did was amp up the stupid "WWE fans vs indie fans" conflict.

Wrasslin' fans fighting with other wrasslin' fans over whose wrasslin' is better.

Shame on you for perpetuating that nonsense with this drivel. Absolutely fucking ridiculous. This is why the fandom, in general, is shrinking.

Wow, Tito the Phat, you've given like the worst endorsement for the straight edge lifestyle I've ever heard in my life, as you've basically said that it's responsible for you being a miserable asshole who repeatedly contradicts himself in columns and refuses to admit when he's wrong. Too Sweet me, bro. I'ma enjoy my adult beverages and herbs and..umm....not be a miserable asshole, I guess?

When was Balor/Lesnar announced officially? Was it ever?

Balor would go on to head up the Balor Club after your "Curtain Call 2.0" conspiracy theory. A big part of the Balor Club schtick? Throwing up the too sweet gesture....

Why do you do this, Tito? This is "permanently under 3 million" except even more brain dead because you seem oblivious to the fact that the WWE owns the trademark on the gesture and that they've got numerous guys on their roster who use it nightly. You also seem oblivious to the fact that WWE, themselves, promoted Finn and AJ's "too sweeting" on their own social media.

But yeah it's still 1996, Tito, and Balor is destined for a Henry O Godwinn feud.

Presumably, it'd have featured Vernita's daughter, Nikki, going after The Bride to avenge her mother. But I don't think it was really anything other than a bunch of "hey wouldn't it be cool if..." type talk. Kinda like that time Tarantino was supposedly game to make a Friday the 13th movie.

You're right about the crowd. I am not sure if I agree with your Ziggler-based explanation, but I absolutely agree that a wrestling audience has a right to react accordingly if they're dissatisfied with what the company is putting out.

There's more to it than crapping on Rollins/Ziggler, though. The product as a whole has been underwhelming, as you say. Even Rollins/Ziggler, itself, has been a bit of a rush job feud, and the cobranded PPV gig doesn't exactly come with brevity.

You can't make me watch a marathon of Teen Mom 2 and then expect me to not be a little disgruntled by the time you roll out the Breaking Bad pilot.

I adamantly, and respectfully, disagree with the idea that what happened last night is on the fans, and I find the idea that anyone who wasn't as outraged as yourself somehow loses their "wrestling fan" cred to be woefully misguided and tragically dismissive of the bigger picture.

You paint that bigger picture, by the way, oh so very clearly yourself in the "There is a lot wrong with the WWE at the moment" paragraph. There's a LOT wrong with the WWE at the moment, and, while Rollins has been a bright spot, he's not a bright spot capable of single handedly fixing all of those wrongs on the strength of consistently working good matches.

Good matches are great, don't get me wrong, but good matches, alone, aren't going to keep fans invested for hours and hours. Especially in today's day and age. Good matches that folks don't care about are consistently dragged down by bigger issues in pretty much any promotion. Ask TNA. Ask WCW. Ask New Gen WWF.

Audience reaction is the lifeblood of the business, and the WWE's continued insistence on ignoring that reality is exactly what causes an issue like last night's. That along with a myriad of other problems that have been consistently ignored for years at this point.

So, in short, don't blame wrestling fans for being wrestling fans. Blame the company for it's stubborn need to learn and re-learn the same lessons the hard way time and time again.

tl;dr: Blame the company, not the fans.

It is a work. Heyman wouldn't be promoting the angle if it wasn't, and they absolutely wouldn't keep the belt on him if he was refusing to do business.

"Considering it's Brock"

I don't think that means what you think it means.

Brock does not care. One bit. If they pay him to drop the title to Ellsworth, he'll do it. If they pay him to show up, he will show.

This idea that he doesn't want to be there or os difficult to work with is a work. Brock loves his WWE checks and has spoken pretty openly about it being a fun gig
