My beautiful, terrible, silvered son (cat, Artemis) nearly gave me a heart attack this morning, when he didn't say goodbye at the door. I spent the next half hour (super late to work) roaming the neighborhood, under the assumption that he had slipped out when Mr. Moprocks-to-be went to work at 5:30.

I finally found him when my cries enlisted some jingling from the inside of the couch(!). He had apparently squeezed through a small hole in the under-lining, found himself unable to get back out, and fallen asleep. I had to have the fiance lift the couch while I gently maneuvered him out.

Still working on controlling my freak-out levels.
