Wow, I used to eat Always Save vegetable soup for days on end while I was putting myself through college, just so I wouldn't have to ask my grandparents for a few bucks for groceries. I always felt humiliated if I couldn't make it on my own. I am embarassed FOR Geithner, out there begging like this!

He sure is a sly fox! He gets in front of all the media speaking about this bill as if it is a foregone conclusion! The kicker is that most who don't pay close attention to what's happening in this world just believe it and accept the inevitable. I say let's just keep talking to anyone who has ears. The more daylight that hits this subject the uglier it gets!!

I say let them try! Cheney did a number on them earlier this year and I for one would love to see it again. At least Cheney gets big press, so that even the sheep in this country can't help but hear.

This article just confirms what we are all seeing already in our communities. I can't speak for everyone I guess, but even here in Kansas where I live we are seeing businesses suffering and going to layoffs, shorter work-days, or even mandatory shut down for a few days a month.
