I'm Australian, but I must say I am truly worried about what is and has been going on in the United States. The US used to the country we looked to for leadership. The US used to be a country that we admired and tried to emulate. An example to the rest of the world. Now I'm afraid my country may start to try and emulate what is happening in the US.

We don't share the same rights enshrined into our constitution. We technically speaking do not even have a 'right' to free speech in this country. Why is it that there are so few people willing to stand up and be vocal about the principles that your entire country was founded on? Why is it that we as a populace (whatever our nationality) allow our rights to be eroded on an almost daily basis.

I wish we had people such as Glenn in our country to get people up off the couch, rouse them to action, and truly inform them.

We have a wonderful situation here in my home state where a there is a Crime Commission that is able to hold secret hearings. In these hearings people are compelled to testify or they face jail. There is no right to silence. There is no right to not incriminate one's self. When did this sort of thing start becoming acceptable?
