For fifty years we have been preaching that there is no personal responsibility and that all our problems are the fault of society in general. Now we complain because we are beginning to reap what we've sown.
If we want tough sentencing for criminals we have to put tough people in the judicial system, not namby-pamby politically correct bureaucrats and politicians.

You can't warn the police to watch out for possible terrorists among the Muslim or Arab community because that would be profiling and not Politically Correct, but it's OK to warn them about returning military veterans.
Makes me wonder how much longer we can expect these kids to keep signing up to defend our country if they’re going to be labeled as Terrorists and Traitors when they come home.
It doesn’t really matter who ordered this study. I’m a little suspicious of the political spin that has been put on it though.

I keep hearing about all the guns being imported to Mexico from the US. Just curious why the drug sindicate would spend all that time and money smuggling semi auto AK's in when they can buy all the full auto weapons they want at a third of the price anywhere in Central or South America.

We also have a mayor who's on a power trip. He's managed to waste millions of dollars on condo's they can't sell and building a downtown tunnel that will get you six blocks closer to the afternoon traffic jams quicker.
I think he's a Nickols clone.

Let me guess, bondjedi is one of the Dem liberals that can't stand the idea that a Democrat can be a conservative. Tim Sheldon has never made any bones about his political orientation and when his party tried to bring in a ringer to steal his seat the Mason county voters backed him up.
He'll get my vote again, he's the only real conservative we have out here on the west side.

Where were our Democratic friends during that same time? Sitting on their butts complaining! At least those folks in Yakima are doing something.
If you are really disgusted with the bailouts maybe you should join one of the protest groups; you might find out they're not all Bush Republicans, a lot of us are just plain Americans who are tired of not being represented in DC.

Just curious. In a society where we have legalized both abortion and euthanasia, how can anyone claim the moral high ground by opposing the death sentence for premeditated murder? If there's any logic involved I can't see it.
