Thirded. I was thinking of Bernie Mac as well.

I don't know if it is him. Moranis is rather famous for having quit the industry years ago. He's been writing and performing country music for the few years. It seems odd that he's back writing op-eds, so I'm not sure if it's a coincidental name or not.

Nah. They'd have to cut too much to get it to movie length. It'd work great as a mini series though.

"Born" though gets partially redeemed as it spawned a great Weird Al parody.

It's because Z&M isn't a very good film. Neither of the main characters is very likeable and it's one of those films where if the main characters would just speak to each other for five minutes, there'd be no movie. And that particular plot device drives me nuts.

Hang on. To be fair to the series, there are actually suits in Starship Troopers 3, which was surprisingly pretty good for a direct to video film. (And the animated series used them too, but that doesn't count.)

The second film though? Nah. Don't waste your time.

Yeah, the last part of Breaking Dawn is where all the "Wait. What the hell?" finally bubbles up to the surface. I'm going to love seeing the casual fans' reactions to it.

I've seen Stewart act in other films. (Runaways, for example.) Ditto for Pattinson. (He showed more emotion in the 5 minutes of Harry Potter he appeared in than in the entire Twilight series so far.) But for whatever reason, the actors in Twilight generally seem asked to give as little emotion as possible in their performances. It's like watching a Vulcan production of Romeo and Juliet. But with shirtless werewolves.

"How did it take so long for this to be discovered?"

What it sounds like is that no one realized that the WH had actually been struck.

To be fair to the security folks, they found the gun within a half hour of the first reports of shots being fired. And the bullet holes were found in an area of the WH used for lounging and guests. Since neither the President nor the First Lady were actually in the White House this weekend, no one may have physically been in those rooms until the last day or two, when someone might have actually noticed the damage and connected it with the shooting.
