There is NO comparison. ATTITUDE, era wins this argument easily. Shame that Ambrose and Rollins weren't part of it. They would've fit In very well.

Ok.....I have to admit, I completely agreed with EVERYTHING he said in this post. I think whoever made the decisions made about the Shield and the Undertaker's streak should be looked at as an object for budget cuts. No wonder Batista keeps leaving. He can't deal with the idiocy.
Of course, the next bone-headed move will be to put the title on Lesnar, because having another part-time champ (The Rock) is just what they DON'T need. I'm as tired of Cena as everyone else is, but, he is there every week.
The smartest thing they can do at this point is to bring Sting in to a huge pop at Summer Slam as Lesnar is pummeling Cena after he beats him for the title. THEN...Have Sting knock Lesnar out with his bat...and Rollins cashes in. (Ambrose will have to be severely injured earlier in the show by the Authority and rushed to the hospital}. Of course after Rollins wins, Sting then takes him and the rest of the Authority out and stands in the ring over them as the show goes off the air....
And then, BY ALL MEANS get Punk back. Some how, some way. Put him in a feud with the Authority (Stone Cold vs The Chairman)...
Spell it....A.T.T.I.T.U.D.E. in the "Reality" era.....

I was a big fan of the CM Punk character. I am not, however, a fan of the character of Phillip Brooks. Dad always told me if you enter into an agreement, fulfill it. He may not have liked the fact that he was not main eventing WM for the title, but he isn't the only one. I'm sure there are other issues, but aren't there always for all of us? Yes, I think it makes WWE look weak when they bring in a part-timer and put the belt on them. But that is the way the world of business works sometimes. I'm still holding on to a glimmer of hope that his music hits at just the perfect time and Punk comes out to a HUGE pop.

The Shield brought back the "ATTITUDE" of the WWE. If Vince is smart, he'll keep them going. Blur the lines between "face" and "Heel"..... and it will get VERY interesting.
