I had always wondered how Muslim extremists could get so blinded by rage that they were incapable of processing facts and looking at issues from several angles instead of adhering to baseless lies and ultra-conservative propaganda.

However, after reading all of your comments, I am horrified to see that exact same mentality here in the US.

I voted for Dole and Perot and have never been a big fan of Clinton.

However, I'm not so disingenuous as to suggest that this was Clinton and not the Republican controlled House and Senate that authored the bill.

I'm sure it's fun to play "blame the other party" but at some point you have to face reality and understand that this was a bi-partisan effort to make the rich richer.

If by Bill Clinton repealing the Glass-Steagall act you actually mean Republican congressmen Phil Gramm in the Senate and Republican representative Jim Leach in the House then you would be correct.

I understand the need to rewrite history to support your own strange political hangups, but at least pick a subject that isn't so easily fact checked.
