As the mother of two teens, I know your parents are proud to see you have such a good value system and are politically aware at such a young age. Our family lives in the land of "liberals", and my children have both been verbally berated and belittled for their conservative and traditional beliefs. It takes a lot of fortitude to stand tall and stay firm in your core values. You are already an obviously articulate writer and intelligent young man.
