Deadlifting 600lbs is pretty damn impressive.

Gotta echo the comments above the more I see from EC3 - Not sure what the WWE didn't see in him.

Though, TNA won't ever get the credit for that.

The talent was tremendous during those years. You have to wonder if that speaks volumes about the quality of schools today, the jaded philosophy of some indy companies or even wrestlers, or simply just a down era for pro wrestling?

Liam, good to see you back my man. And thanks for the shout out.

As always, good stuff here. You're dead on in that the best authority figures are the ones who have misconceptions about themselves from a particular fanbase. Dixie using that to her advantage really has made her role that more impressive and entertaining.

I think there is a difference. Characters in pro wrestling are important.

Kurt Angle vs. Bobby Roode is much more intriguing than Sam Shaw vs. Bobby Roode, no?

Does your friend watch solely because of entertainment factor, or because like Coke and McDonalds, its the long term brand he recognizes and knows?

Garrett, I'm a big fan of New Japan as well. Love the product. I just don't think NJPW and TNA have the same philosophies on the product it wants to present. I'm not even confident the NJPW product would be overtly popular among the masses and casual fans with such a wrestling-heavy product, which you sound like you're a big proponent of.

But nothing wrong with diversity. Wrestling doesn't have to be so cookie-cutter.

Moon9 - That's really the beauty in it. If you get upset over this, they pretty much got you. All it does is expose the fans who believe they are smart and had no idea as drummerj stated above, or simply make fun of all of us for diving in so fast on a small video.

And give credit to the company, Pac Man could very well be an embarrassment for the company, and they used it to keep the Dixie Carter character light.
