well, and the way he put it was that we werent supposed to follow this plan of action, we were supposed to let our guy who infiltrated do his thing. he is a very railroading DM, and we do everything we can to de-rail his campaigns all the time. its just so much fun

my favorite moment is as a player in a western style campaign, when my party-mates and i killed 3/4 of the main bad guys due to an excessive amount of trip 20's (insta-kill)

or, in a star wars campaign, when myself (a jedi) and another jedi and a robot assautled a heavily guarded sith hideout to rescue our friend who was infiltrating them but was discovered. we used a land speeder at full speed to ram them, but ended up getting blown up by land mines. we all survived, but were knocked unconcious. by the time we came to, the sith had imprisoned us and were getting ready to torture us or turn us. the problem with this scenario is that we explained in detail what we were going to do, but our DM misunderstood us. we were going to send the land speeder to blow up the mines and kill some of the guards, then run in and finish the job. he took it as we were riding the land speeder. needless to say there were many thrown chips at the DM

Jim, while I'm sad Reclaimer will be ending sometime within the next year or so, I'm glad as well, because if you do STARCHIPS anywhere near as well as you do this, I will be a hooked reader for that series as well.
