01thinker.. . I agree with your posting, its is one of the few intuitive and intelligent ones I have read for the past couple of days. The government did a really poor job at disseminating the information, and I too am really skeptical, but I will put it aside till all the information comes out. After all, if the threat is credible then its a direct attack on our democracy.

We all know that its the working class citizens who always get screwed. We work, pay taxes, have no special opportunity, never ask for handouts. The contributions back to the state by the wealthy and upper class are not proportional and yet they get the most benefits. The poor have adopted a "gimme gimme" attitude. Also there are small business owners who are not registered and do not pay taxes, but making millions. All benefiting unfairly.
Now people expecting compensation for their folly. You think if I am so wealthy and chose to live in a high risk area, I might be able to afford home insurance.
