The advantage is, while they are voting "yes" on stuff like Cap & Trade they know that they have to walk out the front door and face their constituency directly. There should be a big jumbo TV on the front of the building with a live feed on how they vote. While in some instances it may make no difference at all.. in some it may make all the difference in the world.

It is all going to happen. I remember 10 years ago they had a commercial showing a guy in a black trench coat stuffing steaks into his pockets at a grocery store. He walks out the front door and a security gaurd stops him; "sir, you forgot your receipt". The technology has been there forever, they're just waiting for a good excuse put it in every doorway in the world.

Things will get so bad that the people will scream for this technology to help secure us from the "bad people", so you won't even be able to buy food without it (mark of the beast). There will be one world order and then a quick trip to armageddon.

While I don't mind wishing someone like this ill, I would rather he and his entire family die in the same plane crash. Let's face it, I'd rather nature or gravity kill him than having to sacrifice American troops on a psycho once again.

hell, even if we all did... they'd still want to cap-n-trade the hell out of our methane emissions

Good luck with the Democrats... imagine having to write Nancy Pelosi telling her she's wrong about cap-n-tax. *shudder*

The problem being, the media labels Tea Parties as "conservative republican whine sessions". When I go to a Tea Party I wear my shirt, on the front is says "I'm a Libertarian", on the back it says "Because no governement is better than this government".

Below are the republican traitors that voted for cap-n-trade in Congress. If these are YOUR representatives, please make your voice heard and let them know they lost your vote in 2010. <a href="https://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtml" target="_blank">https://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtml

If your representative voted AGAINST the bill... THANK them for their common sense that seems so lacking these days in our politicians. Make yourselves heard! Start hammering your senators early and often (NOW NOW NOW) http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information... and let them know that if they vote for this pile of dung they will be openly stating they they do not want to be re-elected in 2010. Remind them that they would be passing legislation on an unproven and recently scientific refuted myth that will kill the economy and small business. Tell them you want more placed into alternative clean energies that will create jobs such as nuclear and less on voodoo knee-jerk politics and pork.

God forbid you ever have a moment in your life when you say "I really wish I had my gun on me... or some other way to keep me alive". Hopefully you never have to stand by and watch helplessly while an innocent or family member is hurt or killed.

I AM confident that a firearm will protect me. Why? Because I've had a ton of training and practice. A lot from the Marines, the rest I paid for. I know how close is too close to get my weapon out. I spent the time and money to be taught tactics and engagement in urban and wilderness environments. I know how to help avoid bad situations. The one thing I actually have agreed with you on in all of your posts is that people need the training.

At the end of my CCW class the instructor asked people to raise their hand if they had attended a live-fire class. I was the only one. I was so disgusted I stood up and said "Listen people, I'm an ex-Marine and I took the live-fire course. I hope that before any of you even CONSIDER taking a firearm in public with PEOPLE that you do the same".
