I'm still not sure what these people stand for other than "whats in it for me?" and "down with capitalism".

And the sad truth is that people are still careless or ignorant enough to vote for people like Harry Reid despite his hand in passing Obamacare against the will of the majority of Americans.

Worse is the hoops our would be candidates have to go through to run for election and if they do manage to leap all the hurdles they still ultimately wind up running against some inexplicably well financed schmuck whose machine is in overdrive day and night to defame his or her closest competition. This is why it's called "the system". Our "leaders" have gone to great lengths to ensure they stay in power as long as they can including ensuring the incumbent always has the upper hand and that it's next to impossible to impeach them.

Quoting Obama "They'll learn to like it in time".

According to the Declaration of Independence "Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Our constitution was designed so that we the people should never have to suffer tyrants like Obama for very long. It's time the people of this country wake up and speak up or be forever silent as our so called "representatives" grin at us as they demonize and ridicule those of us who dare to disagree with them.

Please tell me she is up for re-election this fall! Her unwillingness to compromise is EXACTLY why our government is so impotent. Meanwhile she can grin at the fact the democrats and MSM continue to berate the republicans over the very same thing they are guilty of. Alynski's tactics through and through.

The trick is that Newt is not beholden to the republican party and so would not be theirs to control. A newbie like Romney is just up their alley. Their dilemma is that Romney is a long shot against Obama given his corporate ties.

Leftist attacks? It has been Romney and his campaign who has been tearing down every one of the candidates from day one. Most notably Herman Cain. Newt, in contrast, was the only one staying on message reminding us at each debate that Obama should be our focus and that infighting will do us no good.

What's more is that the left has all but admitted that they would prefer to run against Romney as he IS the weakest candidate from their point of view. Doesn't it strike you odd that the MSM has given Romney a pass while they have been laying into all the other front runners? Now the left, according to Rush Limbaugh, has begun to run slanderous adds against Romney on behalf of Newt in hopes of halting Newts advance.

I knew this was going to be an ugly presidential race but I had no idea the primaries would be this ugly. While I'm hoping the republican candidate doesn't have to weather endless months of liberal bashing I also believe we need to chose a candidate to rally behind so we can get our checks in the mail sooner rather than later.

Every word spoken by these candidates can be considered "pandering". Let's try not to make it sound like one of them is doing it less or more than the other. At least Newt is running on his ideas rather than resorting to character assassination of all his opponents. That said you might also consider that his ability to influence liberals could be considered an asset especially when faced with the polarity that exists in our congress. In contrast Mitt does indeed represent everything that the moderates and lefties have been taught to hate about America.

Obama can and MUST be defeated. We cannot afford another four years of his policies.

Have we forgotten so soon the lengths to which this senate and this administration went to in order to impose obamacare? First they try to pass it without letting members of the senate read the bill telling us " we have to pass it to see what's in it". Then they reluctantly give the members of congress 72 hours to read it before passing it. When it didn't get the votes they needed they began devising a way to "deem" it passed without even putting it to a vote. In the end they managed to twist enough arms and pay off enough members to get it passed. When the president was asked if he would sign the bill despite public outcry against the bill he replied" they will learn to like it".

We need to oust this wannabe dictator while we have the opportunity. We cannot afford to wait for his time limit to expire. How many times must he threaten to act without the consent of congress before the American people wake up?

Personally I'm curious why Mitt is even running. It's hard to tell where any mufti-millionaire's loyalties lye outside of personal gain. Whereas Newt has stayed out of it and was content to write books and "consult" until Obama began sabotaging our nations collective future by imposing antagonistic and anti-American policies.

Here's how I look at it. Newt started off his campaign for the nomination with a positive message whereas Romney has been busy tearing down each and every one of his opponents since day one. When confronted about patent lies about his opponents Mitt's response was that he had no control over what his superpacs say. This says to me that Mitt has deliberately been attacking his opponents. Such a man has no honor and is not worthy to lead. Newts current reprisals are just that. They are merely a reaction to the constant onslaught from Romneys campaign.

You be the judge but it is my hope, as things are, that Newt ultimately gets the nomination. He may not be the choice we had all been hoping for but he is a far cry better than a bored power hungry millionaire and infinitely better than the current poser in the oval office.

I would prefer a true conservative that was not beholden to either political party. That said I would settle for just one whose primary focus would be to render some damage control and roll back everything Obama has done. Perhaps then we can pick up where we left off and make some "change" for the better.
