Ha, yep that's a weird one because I just opened with a rant and didn't say anything about that but of course I am glad he is clear of the big C.

I am not saying TNA are the only company who would operate like this -also bare in mind I come from a country with a different healthcare outlook so there may be a culture clash here- but different professions have different levels of risk.

Wrestling being high risk and a profesion where you could suddenly have your career ended in an instant it's different. Now TNA are not obliged to do anything other companies aren't but I think ethicaly it should be a basic part of a contract where you sign someone for more than a few dates.

I don't think TNA are bush league overall but in this sense it feels as if they are. What I will say however is that from what I know of Dixie Carter this seems a little weird and something done by someone who was in charge of contracts. I can only speculate though.

Have to say this but if TNA were not willing to pay the poor guys medical bills then they have NO RIGHT to moan him raising the cash anyway he saw fit. That is such a shitty move on the part of the company, they don't want to look "bush leauge" pay the medical bills of the talent that put their bodies on the line for you goddam company.

What did they expect him to go bankrupt to save their dubious reputation, fuck that.

I think some real gems get lost in the shuffle at WWE because they have soo much talent on their books. A big reason why TNA is vital for a healthy pro-wrestling economy. Not just that but WWE simply do not always know when they have a good talent despite what people may think.

The stand out name in that respect for me would be Magnus, he has got a pretty bland them. Roodes is okay but he needs some a little more special.

I would love to see him back but for me he would have to be heel as he is an amazing heel. A kind of power duo with Dixie with Jarret doing some of the dirty work for Dixie so she can pretend to keep her hands some what clean would be great. Jarret could also revel in doing the dirty work as well.

The A.J Styles storyline is quite a useful device for those that need an little extra attention on the top of the card. Without A.J people like Magnus will now NEED to prove they can fill the void left. I think Roode should always be manouvred in that position heis recent performances with Angle have been something to savior.

He is comming across as a real class heel and as good as Bully is TNA need someone to take the weight of his shoulders as public enemy number 1.

Yes but why was it that financial trouble was turned into a story about how TNA were on deaths door?

Another important point is we still don't know just how bad the money issues were, we know that they couldn't afford to go on the road full time with the current siutation but it wasn't as if they were facing a situation that ECW and WCW faced or at least as far as we know.

My issues with this was that for some reason cash flow issues somehow morphed into a story about how TNA were on their last legs and the source of that info had no way of knowing TNA's figures.

You need to take into account that TNA is one of only two wrestling comapnies that get anywhere near one million viewers.

A comparison to WWE is utterly unfair so you then need to compare Impact to other wrestling shows and ROH just doesn't compare. They have a television deal but it is nowhere near as good.

Impacts raitings have stagnanted but to be honest in the current climate the raitings are not poor enough to base considering selling the company on. The raitings are fairly typical of Impact to be honest.
