That's problem everywhere; broke people with nothing left to lose camping out in the ER waiting room, hoping not to die today.

Obamacare was designed to eliminate a big chunk of that through pooling the risk. It would be churlish to point out that it does so imperfectly and incompletely, since it's such a big step up from what came before. But not as churlish as nixing Medicare expansion because "freedumbs."

I'm sure Staple knows they're going to pay a little more to move those jobs to Taxachusetts, but productivity should rise when your average employee has a HS diploma and a year or two college as compared to one with a sixth-grade FL public school equivalency or a religious homeschool education.

Yeah, even back when I was a naif and thought the world was all black and white, and the justice system worked pretty well I was against the death penalty because it's just so fucking expensive.

When asked about Rep. Perry's opinion, President Obama shrugged his shoulders and said, "I... I don't even... Basically the guy is a complete idiot. Maybe he drank too much fracking water? Pennsylvania might want to look into that."
