From what I can understand, Hamas has had good luck with social services in Gaza, as has Hezbollah in Lebanon. This more so than the Palestinian Authority. They have been elected, although how fair that election was may be up for questioning. If they would just stop the rocket attacks on Israel and admit that Israel has a right to exist, then peace could be so easy to have in the region.
I have received no email to inform me of your comment. Do you suppose it is something in the Intense Debate dashboard? I will check on that and get back to you.
By the way, I am still liking the new design. It really looks great.
It seems that Republicans and conservatives always have to be politically correct and the Democrats and liberals are always free to throw themselves a temper tantrum if they are not. I think this entire CD incident has been made into more of a big deal than it should have been.
Blagojevich is thumbing his nose at his party and at the United States Senate. You have a point about his being innocent until proven guilty. However, it does seem like he is willing to drag this thing out as long as he can and try to get everything he can from it. Hopefully, it will finish up with the Republicans gaining one more seat in the Senate.
I have to agree with you about Steele. I like the guy, but he doesn't excite about the possibilities like Saltsman does. Also, although Saltsman may have showed a bit of poor judgment with the CD gift, I am not ready to throw him under the bus just yet. A lot of people have showed poor judgment at one point or another, including Mike Huckabee. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, for the time being.
