Being a sexual minority has nothing to do with it. Deception is what this is about and a lot of men would not find this
humorous in the least. Sorry, that's reality.

I am lucky enough to have not personally experienced autism. I know there are some children who suffer more. From what I have seen on news shows and read about, one of the things they have difficulty with is relating to others. That is horrifying to me, maybe too strong a word. Having dealt with Alzheimers and trying to communicate, it is very very frustrating. Folks who deal with these kids deserve a medal. It requires so much patience. I have no problem with other kids  learning to care about the differences of others, it was a lesson pounded on us when I was growing up. Everyone here jumped to a lot of conclusions about my comments. Just because I think that an entire class should not be interrupted for one child, it doesn't mean that I don't have sympathy for that child. I know a couple of teachers and they are not very happy about the pressure put on educators to mainstream children with problems. I hear them talk about how much time can be devoted to that one child, to the detriment of others. I stand by my original comments: I think this is a big deal about nothing, and mom running to the tv stations and newspaper lost my attention. And, if one child is totally disrupting something for everyone else, then other measures should be taken. I have been called an ignorant pig, stupid and a lot of hostile comments that were uncalled for by people who apparently can't read a comment and discern the content.

All I am saying is that we get so hysterical about things, it is out of control. This mom has gone to the newspaper, tv and radio. She has no credibility with me.

In fact, no. Conservatives are country first almost all of the time. Libs are unable to separate their private desires and agendas from
what is good for the country.  You can take that to the bank.

Yes, and while intellectually I fully appreciate the implications if we allow police to render street justice, sometimes it is just so emotionally satisfying to see those punks just thrashed by someone....they are usually bullies and weinies to begin with.
