This is totally true! You can comfort yourself with the knowledge that every one one of these contractions is one less that you'll have to deal with once labor really kicks into gear.

That may or may not be comforting...

I would stop buying all second-hand clothing for my kids and get some nice clothes for myself. I would pay someone to mow my lawn and shovel my driveway, pay off my mortgage, and go on vacation. And... I think that's my whole $$$ fantasy! I wouldn't want to stop working or take up shopping/collecting as a hobby. Oh wait, I would definitely replace some appliances (stupid stove with 3 out of 4 working burners, etc.).

My dentist does an oral cancer screening at visits and she told me it's because of "something something problems can exhibit in your month before becoming visible anywhere else something something" (I am not a very attentive patient at the dentist because I am cringing in expectation of the point when all the pain begins). But I think there was also a part relating periodontal disease to cardiovascular disease?

Obviously listen to me I know what I am talking about.
