I rode a lot longer than that. What's your point? One of the first things you learn in the Abate course is SIPDE. Which stands for Scan, Identify, Predict, Decide,Execute. It is a very good tool for avoiding accidents. So he was hit from behind. Motorcycles have mirrors he should use them.

Read all of the news stories for the past couple of years about bad cops and you will have the answer to your question. For the record, just being a cop does not mean you deserve respect. Respect has to be earned. I respected several police officers in the 50's and 60's. That was before police thought they were supreme beings.

Why are you blaming the gas stations?? It is not their fault. If a crowd gathers the only option the station has is to call the police which obviously isn't solving the problem. Requiring extra insurance is ridiculous. You think the bar is responsible for their actions after they leave the bar. These people don't have to be drunk to act like this. They act like this all the time. What about a bar in Granger, do you think they need extra insurance? Of course not. When you figure out why one does and one doesn't you will know the problem.

I agree they did an injustice to this man but the sad fact is, if he lived in a mobile home outside the city limits, it would have most likely been beyond saving by the time they got there.
