I've been thinking about getting one of those. Good tip on the gel pad.

Sucks to your assmar, Piggy ... I mean, Death! (really, though, everyone should say "sucks to [noun]" more often)

FOLDS! Oh my god, so I've been reading a lot of Miss Fisher fan fiction lately (like, A LOT) and the word "folds" has got to be up there with the least appealing words to describe genitalia ever. And I try to think of other alternatives (this is how I spend my time) but honestly, I just don't have a lot of other ones I find acceptable!

I have been enjoying it, because I grew up evangelical and now am decidedly agnostic/atheist, but still miss (some of) what that part of my life offered me. I like reading and thinking and especially joking about religion. But I do think that it would be good to see some more negative view of religion in general represented. Not that I want The Toast to become a negative space--I SO appreciate that it isn't, and I am just loving how civil and thoughtful this entire discussion is. But religion has hurt a lot of people, and it would be good to hear some of those voices and stories, too.

I've been reading The Toast regularly for about a year now, but only just decided to sign up for IntenseDebate (I have a weird OCD thing where I don't like to have too many subscriptions to stuff, just to keep my life, online and real, as simple as possible--I need to get over that probably). So ... hi! :) Glad to be part of the community.
