Thank you so much. I hope your lemonade is delicious! I'm also going to marinate chicken in lime, yogurt, and mint and make kebabs on the grill. My husband is out of town this weekend, and I couldn't get anyone to hang out, so it's just me and my dogs and cats for the next few days. I start a new project on Sunday and that will be nice and distracting for months.

I cannot. It is not fair, this world. I'm making lavender syrup and then I shall make lavender lemonade and then I shall combine it with vodka and cry and cry and cry. The-Toast leaving me at a spectacularly bad moment in my personal life is going to do me in. This weekend is for bingeing on meatballs and fancy drinks and sobbing. I have been MIA for months because my life is imploding, but I will miss this place so, so much. I love you all.

Oh my god, I feel my limbs curling into fetal position just reading that. I've handled all the packing and discarding for all four of our moves, and the idea of coordinating two separate houses and three moving trucks is giving me major secondhand stress. Please, drink all of the wine!

I feel like a horrible child-hating musical philistine, because the School of Rock Tony performance left me feeling incredibly "meh." I am a lifelong musical nerd and I just couldn't see the appeal. I assume it was just bad and no one else wanted to say so publicly.

Oh my god, I have never read the synopsis for Love Never Dies, just a blurb when it was in pre-production that it was set in Coney Island and the luminous and underutilized Sierra Boggess was playing Christine again. What the hell? I maintain my stance that ALW has written two decent musicals in his life and Tim Rice probably dragged him on his lyrical coat-tails through both (Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar). I used to love Cats, but I'm not sure of my opinion these days...

Raoul is like a cardboard cut-out of a person. I can see the appeal of all of the control Christine would have in that relationship, but otherwise, no. Like having sex with a bowl of oatmeal or something.
