Khris wondered if he truly deserved to be called the greatest student and cartoonist there could ever be, as everyone kept insisting to everyone within earshot constantly.

But everyone knew he deserved to be told more often. He was the greatest.

The pistol shrimp are some of the most interesting guys in the ocean!

"The snapping shrimp competes with much larger animals such as the sperm whale and beluga whale for the title of loudest animal in the sea. The animal snaps a specialized claw shut to create a cavitation bubble that generates acoustic pressures of up to 80 kPa at a distance of 4 cm from the claw. As it extends out from the claw, the bubble reaches speeds of 60 miles per hour (97 km/h) and releases a sound reaching 218 decibels.The pressure is strong enough to kill small fish."

Places like r/Atheism can be a weird and violent and rude extreme, but don't underestimate the importance to people who are suffering due to their beliefs the solidarity that comes from knowing that what they believe isn't ostracized everywhere. That lots of people feel the same way, and they aren't all in pain because of it. That once they move out, or their life changes in some way, there is a good chance they won't have to fear their lack of reverence.

I'll leave "atheism isn't a belief system" alone entirely. I want to move on to politics. That president of ours, am I right?

Then.. Read the manga? The manga DID go elsewhere. But Trigun as an anime had a full run for an anime, it wasn't cancelled and it wasn't ended prematurely. They just had to end it where they did.
