We live in a strange world where sites like this make it categorically unacceptable to use offensive language against authors that contribute articles while at the same time it is totally acceptable that the same authors use profanities against Allah, His immaculate prophets and pure and revered personalities such as Mariam (as) and thus offend billions of individuals (both Christians and Muslims with just Muslims accounting for more than 1.7 billion). What a strange world, everything is upside down!

The author could have perfectly made his point without spewing profanities but I guess that requires remembering where one's right ends and another's begins (in this case the right of billions of human beings).
If the author believes he descended from monkeys and the universe came into existence from nothing and if believers cannot convince him through reasoning and respectful discussions that something cannot come from nothing the author still has the right to uphold his belief system ("there is no compulsion in religion" 2 : 256 ), no matter how illogical this maybe to believers, however the author has no right to insult, degrade, slander, profane personalities held holy by billions of individuals.
Indulging in such senseless behaviour, particularly on a public forum is irresponsible to say the least. Furthermore, it compromises one's own credibility, limits one's readership and sets one very low in the spectrum of the universal moral scales.

I watched every minute of this film. It exemplifies vividly that all you need to embrace a just cause is to be human. If your humanity is unpolluted, when you are confronted with falsehood, lies and oppression, your heart will bend towards truth and justice, naturally, just like plants naturally bend towards light.
In the film, Professor Finkelstein denounced the crocodile tears of the Jewish girl in the audience who stood up against him, he simply reminded her that if she had any humanity should would cry for the Palestinians! He really nailed it with that simple yet irrefutable comment! Humanity will remember you as a courageous, truth-loving human being, Professor!
We also learn from the Professor's Palestinian friend that he cried profusely and repeatedly over the killing of the Palestian youth, a murder which he witnessed at close range and left him perturbed. His friend explains he was rather suprised at this emotional reaction, yet I wonder at his friend for it is perfectly human and the normal reaction, irrespective of gender. What is abnormal, is a dry heart, lack of compassion, empathy, concern for the suffering of others, because ultimately it turns one into a robot-like creature with nothing left the humanity they were born with but a human-like carcass ("the dead living"). In that robotic condition we become our own enemies and the enemies of each other, and set our own fast fall into the pit of self-destruction.
The 0.1% whose dream it is to control the planet, its resources and outer space and ultimately our very mind, encourge feed and condition us from the craddle to the grave to adopt that kind of soul-less robotic character and in our immense collective stupidity we make what would mathematically be an impossible project a cake- walk!
