I do not agree with Wisse's statement and with her reactionary, pro-wealthy, pro those in power position.

Yes, she might study all day Yiddish life and culture, of which concern for the poor and oppostion to oppression is an essential part, and still not "get it," not be able to move from a page and some distant past to the world we live in.
Too bad that there are so many neo-cons and other reactionary Jews who choose to ignore the Biblical prophets' calls for peace, equality and justice for all, not just for a bunch of wealthy individuals.

Women's liberation, if not the most extreme then certainly the most influential neo-Marxist movement in America, has done to the American home what communism did to the Russian economy, and most of the ruin is irreversible. By defining relations between men and women in terms of power and competition instead of reciprocity and cooperation, the movement tore apart the most basic and fragile contract in human society, the unit from which all other social institutions draw their strength[15]

"The schvartza?" You are such a fair-minded man, a Tzadik, so respectful of all humans. May I call you "the K--e" or will you be PC and scream bloody murder?

It is always good to see racist actions and words held to account but can we please get back to the other important issues like global warming, wars for oil and empire, destruction of the constitution, spying on all of us? If Sterling is banned for life from the NBA for a few words what should we do with Obama, Clinton, Clapper, Alexander, etc who murder all the time civilians , via drones and guns, most of them dark skinned people? To which circle in Dante's Hell should we send them?

Yes, the trend towards yellow journalism, even among the better papers, is relentless.
I have read Ha'aretz daily since my childhood in Jerusalem and it is still an excellent paper but whenever there is a profile of a writer or politician or banker there is always revealing information about a heterosexual “exploring” or “experimenting” with a lesbian or gay lover, painful tales of divorce and children who refuse to talk with the subject of the story, scandal. Maspik!

Great! Instead of addressing real issues like Climate Catastrophe and how this country became the United Stasi of America we will have months of stories about having sex on top of the stacks of dollars Mr. Made-off (that name should have been a clue) and his fellow lovers/thieves stole.

Thank you for your kind words. Often my words elicit attacks on me and wishes for my early death. If I had a shekel for each of these words of love I would make these ganavim http://www.forbes.com/billionaires/list/
green with envy.

Women can drive men crazy, keep them from studying their books. They are after all Lilith's sisters and daughters. Can these pious men cover their eyes with cloth, (for the mehadrin-pluck out their eyes,) plug their noses and ears, or just take lots of very cold showers and wear very tight pants that don't allow the offending organ to roam free, (though as Robin Williams said- a man doesn't look good in a pair of slacks so tight you can tell what religion he is,) as they take their seats at the back of the bus, thus avoiding any pitooyee?

I do not know what the Oglala Lakota feel about my comment and it is presumptuous of you to claim that you have any idea. Have you asked them? Gone door to door? But I have worked, as a physician, on the Makah reservation in Washington State. I have also worked in some of the poor neighborhoods and towns in Israel (shechunat Ha’tikva, Musrara, Yerucham). Everywhere I saw poverty and inadequate medical services. “No money available” is the usual song and dance. I see a connection between all the money wasted on the settlements in Israel and the fact that people are suffering.
