Many school districts could save money by outsourcing to private schools. My district spends $9400 per student while our local private school charges $8600 for tuition, my county could save $800 per student and county test scores would go up.
It really upsets professors how a roofer can start a business and afford the house next door. A quality HVAC tech can easily make more than a public school teacher, ironically quality teachers voluntarily take a pay cut when they use collective bargaining.
I will be happy if they just dont show up.
They will use the religion argument, our tax dollars are being used to fund religion. Funny how they never complain about churches feeding the poor and not so poor with USDA food.

A father figure is more than a paycheck yet a paycheck is more than money. A paycheck represents the fruits of our labor, reaping what we sow Fathers teach us pride and shame, character in other words. In the absence of a father, character could also be learned in our churches and the military. In the US our churches have changed and our military is starting to change, they no longer offer a positive surrogate for teaching character. Take away abortion and homosexual from the equation, the US left and religious right are very similar in their socialist teachings. Our military now punishes its own for doing their jobs, they place personality above principles. God, family, country has changed to me, me, me and that comes from bad or no home training. Go to walmart on the first of the month and you will see the results of government being the daddy, rude women with undisciplined children talkin smack about what babydaddy aint doin.
Don’t get me wrong, I would love to be the inventor of pet rocks and Air Jordan’s. Who am I to stand in the way of consumer demand.
I agree but we are country that beats the tar out of people over sneakers, less than half of us look at the long term.
