PM Netanyahu is playing the political game of his life - I call it a game for lack of a better analogy even though this game is about life and death.

Benjamin N. (sorry, I can't bring myself to type it out and I don't feel I know him well enough to call him by "Bibi") knows that an America as his ally is in his best interest just so long as America supports Israel's right to exist. He knows that President Obama is not in Israel's camp and that Obama has plenty of populist support. Obama's growing rhetoric that is increasingly anti-Israel has inflamed many of his supporters so much that I openly hear people talk about "Why should we support Israel?" as if the reason wasn't self-evident and plain as the zit on Obama's nose.

We support Israel because they are the longest running (and some say the only true) democracy in the Middle-East. We support them because they are our allies. When we were fighting Iraq both times, Israel had numerous provocations to attack Iraq and other countries and held off because we asked them to. Hussein shot scud missiles at them and they held themselves in check because of what we asked.

So PM Benjamin N. realizes that he cannot come out publicly and call this BS about a Palestinian State what it is - BULLSHIT. If he does he may alienate the American public. So, he "plays the game" and says he is open to it, if they are disarmed. Of course the crazy Palestinians won't agree to that and by extension neither will Obama but at least PM. Benjamin N. can say, "I'm open to the idea, but I need some concessions." Obama and his blood brothers will in no way concede and then to the American public it will be easier to play out that Obama and his blood brothers are the ones that will not compromise.

The underlying fact is Israel would not attack any Muslims if Israel was not being attacked first. In the face of ongoing attacks, a Palestinian state will never be achieved, rightly or wrongly (I say wrongly).

I'm reminded of a press release Hamas or Hezbollah sent out years ago about why a truce was being broken....

"The ceasefire is over because Israel retaliated against us." That says it all right there.

Sorry but this in my mind begins another Die Endlösung. And our President is complicit in it.

I may be overreacting but I can only imagine that sometimes in the future, probably in my lifetime Israel will suffer serious losses.

I don't see Obama having a problem with a nuclear Iran coupled with this and I don't see him engaging our forces to help an Israel on the brink in the future.

The only thing that buoys me is that I do believe in God and I do not believe Israel will be allowed to be destroyed. But, they may shed a million tears before He gives them succor.

Miami and Seattle Muslims are inflamed? I'm all broken up.

You know what inflames me? Muslims cutting off the heads of American citizens and flying planes into large office towers with the sole purpose to kill innocents on a large scale.

I think my inflammation trumps theirs.

I doubt Benjamin Netanyahu really believes all that nonsense that he told Obama. Mr. Netanyahu is extremely familiar with what terrorists are like since his brother Yonatan (and I'm sure there is no need to remind people of this, but I thought I'd mention it) was killed in action against terrorists. Mr. Netanyahu is playing the game so that he doesn't completely alienate Obama. But, I'm sure he knows Obama will not take actions that will help Israel in the long run and is planning accordingly. That's why he has said in no uncertain terms that they will not accept a nuclear Iran.

Jerusalem is not on the table. There is no way in any scenario that Israel will ever give up Jerusalem. And I don't blame them one bit.

I agree about Obama and his comments related to Israel and then the Muslims. Why not demand of the Muslims that they seize this "historic opportunity" - words he used when talking to Israel. When I heard that, I thought, "What historic opportunity?" What has changed that makes this moment an opportunity? Hamas still has Israel's destruction in their charter. Amina-whatshisface still says the Holocaust never even happened. What historic opportunity????

Man, the liberals I know are up in arms over this. They are frothing at the mouth. Their screaming their same old platitudes and yet it all rings so hollow that even their own Senate controlled by Democrats. I haven't seen the liberals this upset in awhile,

It's insulting for President Obama to demand this because I'm quite sure Netanyahu, someone well versed in diplomacy, would send out all the necessary warnings about what is about to happen.

He probably won't give Obama a week's notice because he won't want anyone in this administration to tip off Tehran.

I'd have sent a message back, "With all due respect, President Obama, have a coke and a smile and shut the F### up!"

No, but seriously, I would have sent him a message back saying, "I will not subordinate the safety of my people to the notion that you need to be informed before we take necessary action to protect those same people."

If the mission was accomplished then it would only be logical that we have no need for the DHS now. But, has anyone ever accused this administration of being logical? He talked today about fiscal responsibility regarding a healthcare system and this was all with a straight face after getting a budget passed that will have us running a 1.8 trillion dollar deficit.

Logical indeed....

I heard this was an opening line getting serious consideration.

"My fellow Muslims, let me point out to you that I was raised by Muslims, many of my friends are Muslims, and I have a Muslim middle name....I am you and you are me!"

I said it before and I'll say it again. Ayaan Hirsi Ali should have been given the Nobel Peace Prize over that bloated gasbag, Gore. She stood up for freedom and free speech and her reward was death threats and she had to go into hiding for telling the truth about what she endured.

What did Gore do to deserve the Prize over her?
