Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for tithing. tithing from their garden spices (tithes were from produce & animals in those days), and not focusing on "the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy & faith"
to me, cussing is probably at the bottom of the list. If you're loving people & taking up your cross daily, being patient, gentle, kind, generous, sacrificial, joyful, peaceful, etc, maybe then you should worry about cussing. If you're not cussing, but you're not loving your neighbor, not helping the poor, woe to you - read the bible again.

Jesus was friends with sinners, so much so that he was disdained by the religious people of his day. Let us not follow the same legalistic path of the pharisees, and be condemned by Jesus himself for it.

If you have an extra day, you should ABSOLUTELY check-out Catalyst Labs. that's my favorite part of the conference! You get to hear from several lesser known speakers in a more intimate setting & ask questions. Love it.
Can't wait to hear your talk, Michael.

Because, while we all might agree, "Yeah, of course that's important for a leader" we may not all know how to do it, or what it really looks like. Furthermore, we may not all be convinced it's in the top 10, but you can convince me with examples.
But I'm not criticizing this post. Great stuff! Love your blog! I want more! Seriously, you should write a book, I think it would help lots of leaders.
