For one, it's not a war- it's a bi-partisan movement. ref- acceptance speech. second, it's spelled "lose, losing." ref- dictionary.
I would like to hear your analysis on how this would either for good or bad effect inflation
Hey guys... the prompt is "How is the current economic crisis affecting you." In my opinion, I believe the moderators want us to share anecdotes rather than a 15 page bash forum...Just a thought. some examples of how you might respond to a prompt like this would be: "I just lost my job; I could not get a car loan; I'm about to lose my house..." Summary, I think this is more the "share your stories" rather than "share your ideas." Just an idea.. now look, there I go, too...
I agree with you, but i'm curious... You stated the "root cause" was the "Bush administration." Now, don't get me wrong, I don't much like the Bushes and their party, but in fair transparency, let me ask you this. was it not the Financial Services committee and chris dodd, barney frank, who encouraged fannie mae and freddie mac, which gave risky mortgages to less-than-qualified individuals? This was a horrendous idea in retrospect...I believe we should have expanded subsidized housing, i.e. apartments, job-training.... please let me know how you feel about this.
The economy is miserable and getting worse everyday. There's an old saying, "It's a recession when your friend loses his job; it's a depression when you lose yours." Well, make it's unofficial: it's a depression alright. I've been browsing employment sites for the last week, and in my industry (customer service) there is not a single job in the Gastonia, NC area... Not only this, but in the surrounding "bigger cities" the quality of the jobs (i.e. pay rate, benefits) is miserable. So my choices are to drive 30 miles for minimum wage, or hope for hope the economy returns. I sincerely believe the alternative resolution Obama has discussed by expanding the public works projects would be a tremendous benefit. Time is of the essence-- the time for change.
