Thanks Jevonnah! It's something I've always tried to do, but was crystalized in a discussion within our mastermind group. And so far this month, I've touched a lot of people with a lot of value. I'm having fun and it'll all sort out financially in the long run.

Chris - I did use a private Facebook group. It was the easiest place to use and I just invited my friends to see who would be interested. I think I started it in January or February of 2013, and the book came out in June. I would post updates about my progress and what I was working on, questions to get specific feedback, and I did a few polls regarding the title. I think I shared the original book proposal, and at some point the book in PDF.

This wasn't about getting specific feedback on the book as a whole, but allowing people to be a part of the process and hold my feet to the fire. Mostly it was a core group of my friends and fans, those who were already invested and wanted me to succeed.

The format and usage of a group like this could take a lot of forms, but whatever it is you have to feed the group. By that I mean you have to engage with them frequently. I tried to post something every few days, and stayed on top of any comments or conversations. It took time, but it was worth it.

This is only the beginning, Chuck. And none of it would be here if not for you!

There are great books in you, Kevin. I'd love to help pull them out!

Maybe pause is a better word than stop because I don't really want to stop learning. But it is powerful when we stop in input of information so we can focus on the output. I love massive progress!

Thanks for sharing, Jennifer! We all have our methods to writing or getting things done...the trick is to find the ones that produce results instead of just formalizing our dysfunction. I haven't decided on the next book yet, but I'll let you know!

Jennifer - Plan B is a blessing many do not have until Plan A crumbles. I appreciate your comments and wish you well as you find a way through your tunnel.

Jason, it's funny that you mention that. My interview was scheduled yesterday! It'll be in late December, not sure when it will be published.

If you can connect me with any other podcasters, radio show hosts, or reporters, please do. I'm always up for an interview!
