While we are all proud of the Tea Party movement, I have to stress how easily it could fall apart. If this really were "organized from the top down" as the mainstream media claims, there would be a plan of action laid out. As it is, we are feeling our way along, making suggestions as to what should come next and that's all well and good... as long as we are flexible and open. My big concern is our movement splintering. We have to stand strong and not become bickering and petty. I don't know of it happening yet, but get two or more folks together, and you have different opinions and the possibility of dissent.
Yes, I agree the timing for us working folks kept the numbers from their full potential. I was unable to attend. I'm chomping at the bit to get to the next one. My concern is that because this IS a grassroots movement, it will become unorganized and splinter into smaller interest groups who want to do their own thing. Let's not let that happen!
If ACORN will be there, we're sure to get media coverage!!
I wasn't aware of this Tea Party. I'd like any other info on it you might have. I live in St. Joe. I can't get the Missouri Tea Party website to come up on my computer. Might be my browser. ?
