This is rediculous. I thought we lived in a free country. Big corporations get all the tax breaks and get to build anything anywhere but when a family wants to build a treehouse for their kids on their own property its no way. You know what it is, the parents did not slip enough money under the table to the county big wigs. Bribes just don't go as far as they used to with inflation the way it is now. I am so sick of the crap. It makes me sick that these county and city governments have so much power now that they can tell you what you can and can't do on your own property. We need to start putting our foot down and start taking away some of the power these idiots have!

Mr_IT_Guy You can't always blame the parents. With society the way it is today parents are becoming scared to disipline their children for fear of having CPS take them away. You cannot even spank your children these days. Anytime you raise your hand to spank a child you are looking at CPS charing you with child abuse at a minimum. I have a 12 year old son with ODD "Opositional Defiance Dissorder". He has trouble controlling himself when he gets upset. There are times when he needs to be put over a knee like I was when I was his age. When I was a kid you never heard of things like this happening with children but parents were aloud to disipline their kids then too. Everybody wants to blame the parents but yet they will not let the parents disipline their children.

Not only leaders but alot of military personell period. Look at the soldiers that got charged in the picture incidents at Abu Garab prison. The were privates etc. that were ordered to do the things they did. The ones that gave the orders walked off free while they just followed orders and got shafted for it. I think the ones that should be charged, dismissed, etc. should be the ones giving the orders no matter how high their rank is.

The FBI put a reward out for him because as soon as he is captured the CIA is going to put his skills to use in espionage. Picking locks, stealing cars and planes to get away. Sounds like spy material to me.

This just makes me sick. How could someone do something so horifying to an innocent little child especially there own? As a father I don't care what has happened I could never hurt my children and I do not see how anyone ever could! I just pray to GOD that just because he is a Canadien citizen he still gets the death penalty. Canada had better not fight us on giving him the death sentence and we need to come up with the most painful and slowest way to put As*#@les like this to death.

I think they should let him go. Our Government does not seem to give a S@#T where Bin Laden is. They have not even been looking for him. I really think they gave up after the first month of looking for him and used 9-11 to go after Sadam and anyone else they wanted to. Let this guy go and kill the idiot, collect 25 million from the government that gave up their search, and become a national hero. Go Gary the citizens of this great country are behind you!

He sent a sort of apology that was stated in another article. See the comment below for his statement taken from the other article.

"Kantu told the Globe that after doing more research, he regrets his comments but does not have any plans to resign from the board."
