Oh please... The State of Washingtong spends Millions in Bellingham, State School, etc... Oh, and lets not forget about the hospitals owned by the Catholic Church. And th that its a port. But hey, why let facts stand in the way of the truth? Yep, it's thanks to all the green businesses and the "millions" of dollars they generate locally. Way to go greenies!

Ok Captian - let me try to dumb it down for ya so you can understand what it has to do with the article... The Indians got an Island for free. An Island owned by the taxpayers. This is because the fools in charge of our state accept bribes (that's when money is exchanged for favors) from Indian tribes in the form of campaign contributions. The state "gives" the tribe the Island worth millions of dollars. I am a taxpayer (we pay money to the state for services) and I just payed an Indian tribe millions of dollars for nothing.
Now this special treatment comes from liberals exacerbated sense of guilt for crimes committed against these same tribes hundreds of years ago. So the ancestors of these wronged tribes get special treatment from the state and I'm paying for it. Ok, I know it's tough, but try to follow - Based upon the same logic, since my ancestors weren't here when the crimes were commited, I don't think I should have to pay. So I was making a comparison between their ancestors and mine. And no, they weren't asked to come here, but they had permission to do so by following the legal immigration laws of the USA at the time. Also - the tribes have plenty of $$ - its not the same as welfare support in any stretch.

Like the Indian tribes around here need any help... It's time to end their "special treatment". I'm sick and tired of having to use my tax dollars to support people who can make it on their own, clearly. Look at how much money the casino's bring in!!!
Anyway, all of my ancestors were in Ireland at the time of the Indian defeat. But my tax dollars have to support them forever? How is that fair? They claim the right to payment because of what their ancestors went through. I claim the right to not pay them because my ancestors had nothing to do with it!!!
But with this type of thinking, I guess I should sue the British Government because of it's treatment of my ancestors, right?
